something for zazu to read

because she asked for reading material.  i totally hear ya.

:

…what, me?  no, I'm not going to write it, psh!  that takes effort!  whaddaya think i am, a blogging machine??  i need SLEEP!

but here are some of my favorite blogs:

Double Fine Action News a blog masquerading as the news updates from the creators of the Excellent Game Psychonauts.  Highly serialized.  For best humorous effects, go here and start at the bottom.  (whoops, i got so excited there, i started capitalizing!)

the defective yeti   funny.  incisive.  in seattle.  if you're like me, you skip the politics and go straight to the conversations, the humor, or the really random stuff.

Mighty Girl  also funny.  makes me read poetry sometimes, which i like, because i'm too lazy to do it on my own.

hope you enjoy.

SWEET!! i saw you were in san francisco and obsessively wondered, "i wonder if he knows the good people at double fine," like sf is a little village where everybody knows everybody else. HA! i was RIGHT!! san franciscans DO all know each other! do you all live in one big house? like one of those tall, skinny houses that go uphill sideways?tell steve thanks for breaking tim's heart. because it bleeds Arabian Mocha-Java and that's just good entertainment for the player.

Yep… we all live in a big sideways house and we all ride together to work under the Golden Gate Bridge on a Rice-a-Roni trolley car. Hehe. Interestingly enough, I know Steve from Back In The Day. He was in my scooter club when we both lived in Seattle. Then he moved to Texas, and then to San Francisco about a month before I did. Shortly after that, he started working at Doublefine, and I went over to Six Apart and our offices are literally a block away from each other. Weird world it is. Tim shouldn't feel bad. Steve's consumerism is such that if Juan Valdez rode his donkey up to his desk, roasted some beans right there, and then proceeded to make the freshest and most delectable cup ever, he'd still feel compelled to go to Starbucks to get whatever froofy ass milkshake in disguise it is that he needs. Plus, that dude drinks a ton of coffee.

Oh, most excellent. I love immediate satisfaction from friend adding. This ought to get me through the remainder of the day until VACATION TIME!!!
